Job summary
As a Senior Client Advisor at JPMAM, you will be working as part of the Middle East Institutional sales team business and be based in Dubai. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Middle East for JPMAM. You will have the ability to partner with the largest institutional investors and build solutions to serve our clients’ needs. We aim to be the trusted advisor to institutional clients in the region and to increase our market share across a range of asset classes with new and existing clients.
Job responsibilities
- Assuming responsibility for a set of institutional clients in the Middle East, introducing new and existing products with a view to win new clients and mandates.
- Manage pipeline opportunities and build an ambitious book of business with institutional investors such as Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Foundations, etc.
- Build on existing client relationships, with the objective of increasing penetration in particular with the larger firms
- Work closely with the Head of the Middle East, whilst also leveraging the JPMC network to develop client opportunities and drive business
- To undertake business with a full understanding of all compliance, audit and legal requirements specific to relevant sales area, and in line with 'best practice'
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Substantial sales and client experience within financial services industry with a proven and track record in asset management sales, preferably in Middle East (but not a strict requirement).
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Deep understanding of macro-economics, markets and investment processes
- Exceptional business development attitude and eagerness to deliver outstanding sales results
- Collaborative team player who knows how to work in global organisations
- High-impact communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an effective way
- Be based in Dubai and moderate international and local travel
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Language: English (fluent in writing and speaking), Arabic language (preferred)
