Role Description
- Preparing, organizing, and reviewing consultancy contracts, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Managing client and consultant correspondence, following up with clients, and preparing progress reports.
- Coordinating with department managers and design teams to track project schedules, submissions, and delivery deadlines.
- Assisting in service pricing and liaising with suppliers/contractors, including maintaining their database.
- Organizing and documenting meetings (Minutes of Meeting – MOM) and ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Supporting the development of office workflows, standards, and quality procedures.
- Assisting management in the recruitment of new architects/engineers when required.
- Contributing to the concept and detailed design of new projects, including mood boards and design presentations.
- Coordinating with local authorities and municipalities for project submissions and approvals.
- Reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with codes and client requirements before submission.
- Meeting suppliers and contractors to evaluate materials, finishes, and technical solutions.
- Supporting the finance team by tracking client payments vs. project progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an architectural/engineering consultancy office.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max.
- Knowledge of consultancy workflows, project submissions, and design documentation.
- Strong design, presentation, and report-writing skills.
Preferred (a plus):
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop / InDesign for design presentations and mood boards.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with local authority submission processes and building regulations.
- Knowledge of international building codes and standards.
- Background in sustainable design / green building practices (LEED, WELL, Estidama).
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities.
