About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Guest Relation Manager to join the Executive lounge team in Jumeirah Mina Al Salam.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Present a professional and welcoming demeanor to arriving customers, efficiently allocate and seat guests, and ensure a full understanding of the sequence of service standards.
- Manage customer complaints and feedback calmly and professionally, gather all relevant information, and communicate issues to management.
- Manage the booking system to optimize reservations, maximize covers, and ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of all products, confidently describe them to customers, and take orders accurately by asking relevant questions.
- Handle function bookings, liaise with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams and clients to ensure seamless and well-planned events.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or any other relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a luxury Hotel.
- Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Advanced).
- Leadership and team management skills.
