Job Summary:
Paramount AVS, a Dubai-based Road Transportation and Freight Forwarding company, is hiring an experienced and self-driven Assistant Manager – Operations. If you’ve worked in the logistics and transportation sector, led teams, and know how to run daily operations without hand-holding, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day transportation and freight forwarding operations
- Lead and manage a team of drivers, logistics, and support staff
- Plan and allocate vehicle resources efficiently for timely deliveries
- Monitor fleet movements, delivery schedules, and operational KPIs
- Handle urgent operational challenges with quick, effective resolutions
- Collaborate with accounts and marketing teams for alignment and planning
- Develop new client relationships and maintain existing client satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with UAE transportation laws and internal processes
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost control
- Report progress, challenges, and improvements to senior management
Who You Are:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, road transport, or freight forwarding in the UAE
- Strong leadership and team handling experience
- Able to independently run daily operations with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of transportation software, MS Excel, and reporting tools
- Self-starter with a Business development mindset and client service orientation
