Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles and surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming, etc.)
- Mix and apply paints to match original colors and finishes
- Use spray guns and other painting tools in a professional and efficient manner
- Perform touch-ups, polishing, and refinishing as needed
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety guidelines and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an auto painter or in a similar role
- Knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and application techniques
- Experience with both water-based and solvent-based paints (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or certification in auto painting is a plus
