About the Role:
We are looking for a Quality Controller - PDI to join our dynamic team! If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for automotive quality control, this is the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you will ensure that all vehicles undergo a thorough Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) before reaching our customers, maintaining top service quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to guarantee all repairs and services meet quality standards.
- Identify and address defects, incomplete work, or areas needing rework, collaborating with technicians for corrections.
- Conduct road tests and final vehicle checks to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance.
- Verify fluids, electrical components, and mechanical systems, following PDI checklists.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and document all necessary rectifications.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Floor Supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures for quality control and inspections.
- Report recurring defects and suggest improvements to enhance overall service quality.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and ready for customer delivery.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain an organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience: 3-5 years in automotive quality control, PDI, or a similar role in a multi-brand service center.
- Education: Diploma or certification in Automobile Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and quality control processes.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to identify even the smallest defects or inconsistencies.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Quick to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Communication Skills: Effective collaboration with technicians, advisors, and management.
- Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is preferred for road testing vehicles.
