We’re seeking a skilled Backend Developer to build and maintain the backbone of our infrastructure—APIs, services, and systems that support the Toouk Chain ecosystem. You’ll focus on back-end software that ensures reliability, performance, and seamless integration with blockchain components, without being tied to smart contract development.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices that interface with blockchain nodes and tools.
- Design and manage data storage solutions—both relational and NoSQL—for logging, querying, and analytics.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and stability of backend infrastructure under high load.
- Implement security best practices—authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and secure data handling.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to integrate features and improve systems.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code (unit, integration, performance tests).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend functionality.
- Stay updated on backend technologies, system design best practices, and emerging tools.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more server-side languages/frameworks: Node.js, Go, Python, Java, Rust, etc.
- Strong experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB); ability to design schemas and optimize queries.
- Solid understanding of API design (REST, WebSockets, gRPC) and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Deep understanding of security fundamentals in back-end systems.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in blockchain or Web3 services (e.g., node APIs, indexing services, backend tooling).
- Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or high-throughput systems.

- Open-source contributions or developer tooling experience.
- Familiarity with performance profiling, observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
