Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Bakery Chef with hands-on experience in preparing Manakish, a wide variety of pastries, and authentic Iranian breads. The ideal candidate will bring traditional techniques and creative flair to our bakery, producing high-quality, fresh baked goods that reflect the rich flavors of Middle Eastern and Persian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake traditional Manakish (za'atar, cheese, meat, etc.) with consistency and authenticity.
- Craft a range of sweet and savory pastries using traditional and modern techniques.
- Expertly prepare various types of Iranian breads such as Sangak, Barbari, Taftoon, and Lavash.
- Manage dough mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking to meet quality and quantity requirements.
- Ensure all baked goods are fresh, visually appealing, and prepared to high standards.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen space in line with food safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the team on menu development and product innovation.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage ingredients, and communicate restocking needs.
- Train and guide junior bakery staff, when required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bakery Chef or Pastry Chef, with specific knowledge of Manakish, pastries, and Iranian bread.
- Familiarity with bakery tools, ovens (including stone ovens or tandoor where applicable), and traditional baking methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment with attention to detail and consistency.
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong sense of teamwork, professionalism, and cleanliness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Culinary Arts or Baking is an asset.
- Experience in a Middle Eastern or Persian bakery or restaurant.
- Basic understanding of food cost control, storage, and kitchen safety.

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
