Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, pastries, and specialty café items.
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and timely service to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage the breakfast station, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Assist in menu development by introducing creative and seasonal breakfast specials.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize food wastage.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Adapt to special dietary requirements and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
- Work closely with the bakery and coffee team to create a cohesive breakfast experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef in a bakery, café, or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques, plating, and modern café trends.
- Understanding of food hygiene, safety regulations, and allergen awareness.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred.
