Roles & Responsibilities
The Bid Coordinator will manage and coordinate the bid process for various architectural projects, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Oversee the entire bid process from initiation to submission.
- Review and interpret bid documentation and requirements.
- Develop bid strategies in collaboration with senior staff and project managers.
- Prepare and compile bid documents, including technical proposals, project methodologies, and company credentials.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Ensure proposals are clear, accurate, and compliant with client requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for bid-related inquiries.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external clients or partners.
- Maintain regular updates on bid progress and deadlines.
- Maintain a repository of bid documents, templates, and past proposals for reference.
- Track and report on bid status, including win/loss ratios and feedback.
- Analyze and evaluate bid performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing documentation related to bids.
- Ensure adherence to company standards and quality assurance practices.
Experience & Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in bid coordination or a related role, preferably within the architecture or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of bid processes, proposal writing, and project management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and bid management software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
