TITLE: Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Requirements:
Certified BCBA and a proven clinical work experience as a BCBA
Individuals who have recently competed their Master's Degree and are waiting to take the BACB exam will be considered on an individual basis.
Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations.
Responsibilities:
The BCBA's role involves attending some of the child's direct ABA services to observe the child, monitor if the behavior technician is providing services effectively, and to evaluate whether the child is making progress toward their treatment goals.
Maintain caseload of clients: Write comprehensive Individual Behavior Plan for each child assessed.
Develop and implement skills acquisition, social skills programs.
Develop Behavior Intervention Plans & Strategies for clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with other treatment team members and members of the child’s education environment regarding patients’ progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions as appropriate.
Ensure that medical record documentation protocols are complied with.
Ensures that patients’ progress notes are entered into the medical records on a timely basis.
Provide training/supervision to the ABA therapists as assigned.
