We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to transport passengers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. The Bus Driver is responsible for operating a bus on scheduled routes or for specific trips, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and complying with all traffic and transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus along assigned routes or designated trips
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops or locations
- Ensure the safety of all passengers during boarding, transit, and disembarkation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness
- Maintain accurate records, such as mileage, fuel usage, passenger count, and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, passengers, and, if applicable, parents or guardians
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately
- Provide assistance to passengers with special needs or disabilities as required
- Ensure the bus is clean, fueled, and properly maintained
- Follow all traffic laws, transportation policies, and safety procedures
- Attend required training sessions and safety meetings
