We are looking for a CAD & BIM Modeller to support our acoustic design and consultancy team at Dubai Acoustic Research Laboratory (DARL). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CAD and BIM, a background in HVAC engineering, and a willingness to learn EASE (acoustic simulation software).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage accurate 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and BIM tools (e.g., Revit)
- Work closely with the acoustic consultants to produce drawings, layouts, and design documentation
- Coordinate BIM models across disciplines and ensure consistency with project requirements
- Support visualisation and layout development for reports and presentations
- Learn and assist with EASE modelling for acoustic simulations
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience working on HVAC or building services projects
- Familiarity with architectural and MEP coordination drawings
- Willingness to learn new tools, particularly EASE
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a collaborative approach
- Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Architectural Engineering, or Drafting/Design Technology
- Prior experience in a design consultancy or multidisciplinary team
- Interest in acoustics or experience supporting acoustic design is a plus
