We are looking for a skilled Furniture Carpenter to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in crafting, assembling, installing, and repairing wooden furniture and fixtures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and precision in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and assemble wooden materialsfor furniture, cabinets, doors, and other fixtures
- Construct and install wooden and metal framing for furniture and interior structures
- Apply finishing materials such as varnish, paint, polish, and sanding to ensure smooth surfaces
- Repair and maintain existing furniture, doors, and wooden structures
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Work with a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Requirements:
- Candidate must be currently in the UAE
- Proven experience as a Furniture Carpenter or Woodworker
- Strong knowledge of wood cutting, assembling, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience in furniture framing, carving, and installation
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions
- Attention to detail and craftsmanship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in interior fit-outs or custom furniture projects
- Knowledge of various wood types, laminates, and finishing materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Trial & Salary Details:
- The selected candidate will undergo a 2-day onsite trial to assess skills
- During the trial, payment will be made on a daily basis
- If the candidate passes the trial, they will be offered a fixed monthly salary
