We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Category Buyer specializing in Laboratory Equipment for educational institutions, including schools and engineering colleges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure laboratory equipment, with a focus on Physics and Chemistry apparatus used in schools and colleges
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost-effective and high-quality suppliers
- Coordinate with academic institutions and internal stakeholders to understand specific procurement needs
- Negotiate terms with international suppliers and manage vendor relationships
- Ensure timely delivery of products in compliance with institutional and country-specific standards
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Key Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory equipment categories relevant to educational settings
- Strong understanding of market pricing, supplier networks, and competitor offerings
- Familiarity with international product certifications and compliance requirements
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
