We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef (preferred female) who specializes in GREEK cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of traditional and modern GREEK dishes, excellent culinary skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, flavorful food. The chef will be responsible for menu creation, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Authentic GREEK Dishes: Create and present a wide range of GREEK dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with management to design a diverse and authentic Arabic menu, introducing both traditional and innovative dishes.
- Food Preparation and Cooking: Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality and served according to established standards.
- Maintain Kitchen Standards: Keep the kitchen clean and organized, adhering to hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Manage food inventory, including ordering ingredients, maintaining stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Train and Supervise Kitchen Staff: Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and high standards.
- Cost Control: Manage portion sizes and ingredient costs to ensure profitability while maintaining food quality.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers if needed, receiving feedback and making adjustments to the menu based on their preferences.
Requirements:
- Experience in GREEK Cuisine: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in preparing and cooking authentic Arabic dishes.
- Culinary Training: A diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant experience.
- Passion for GREEK Cuisine: Deep knowledge of ingredients, spices, and traditional cooking methods used in GREEK food.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines while maintaining consistent quality.
- Excellent Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
- Team Player: A positive attitude, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Arabic is advanced
Preferred Qualifications:
- Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
