Position Title: Chief Accountant – Property Development

Job Overview:
Emirates Talent Solution is hiring a Chief Accountant with 7+ years of experience in property development and real estate brokerage. The successful candidate will lead the company’s accounting operations, ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, and provide strategic financial insights to management. This role requires expertise in financial accounting, taxation, audits, treasury management, and cost control. The Chief Accountant will work closely with senior management to maintain financial accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide management with actionable insights for decision-making.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax laws, and other financial regulations.
- Manage tax filings, audits, and coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
- Stay updated with UAE tax laws and regulatory changes.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor daily cash flow to maintain sufficient liquidity for operations and property investments.
- Manage banking transactions, loan payments, and reconciliations.
- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Implement cost-saving measures to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure expenditures align with company policies and approved budgets.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise and support the accounting team, including junior accountants and bookkeepers.
- Train and mentor staff on accounting practices and UAE regulations.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline processes.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certifications: CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA (qualified or part-qualified) preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years in accounting and finance.
- At least 3 years in a senior accounting role within property development or real estate (required).
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate taxation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Experience in audits, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

Pay: AED7,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
