Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our company. The ideal candidate must have prior experience serving as a CFO, with a strong track record in financial strategy, planning, and operations within the region or globally. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, providing strategic guidance to ensure the company's long-term financial sustainability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the executive team and provide financial input into strategic decision-making.
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
- Support the CEO and board with insights on financial planning, risks, and growth opportunities.
Financial Management & Planning
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyze financial results and present clear, actionable insights.
- Ensure appropriate financial policies and internal controls are in place and followed.
Corporate Finance & Treasury
- Lead capital raising efforts, investor relations, and funding strategies.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the business operates
- efficiently. Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
Compliance & Goverriance
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, tax regulations (e.g., VAT, Corporate Tax), and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and legal advisors.
Risk Management
- Identify and manage financial and business risks.
- Implement robust risk assessment models and reporting systems.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Promote a culture of accountability, development, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a CFO (minimum 5-10 years), ideally in the UAE or GCC region.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CFA preferred. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Deep knowledge of UAE tax regulations, corporate structures, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong command of IFRS, corporate governance, and financial modeling.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, M&A, and investor relations is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
