We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment for our premises. The Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors by performing regular cleaning tasks and maintaining hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, surfaces, and furniture.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning materials.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Notify management of any repairs or maintenance required, such as broken fixtures or safety hazards.
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from management or staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work (preferred).
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and techniques.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, floor polishers).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable handling light to moderate physical work, including lifting objects up to [weight, e.g., 25 lbs].
