Roles & Responsibilities
A. Estimation Responsibilities
- Lead the estimation team in preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial kitchen projects (supply, installation, and turnkey solutions).
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to determine materials, equipment, and labor costs.
- Coordinate with sales, design, and engineering teams to validate scope and technical requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date cost database for materials, equipment, and labor. • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical submittals for tenders and proposals.
- Review and approve all final cost estimates before submission. • Evaluate historical data for accuracy and identify cost optimization opportunities.
B. Procurement Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost savings and timely delivery.
- Identify, qualify, and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value. • Ensure purchased materials and equipment meet quality standards and technical specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor evaluation records.
- Manage import documentation, logistics, and customs clearance when required. • Coordinate closely with warehouse, logistics, and project teams to align material delivery with project schedules.
C. Leadership & Coordination
- Manage and mentor estimation and procurement staff to enhance efficiency and skill levels. • Oversee workflow, ensuring deadlines are met for tender submissions and material deliveries. • Implement ERP/SAP systems for tracking estimation and procurement processes. • Liaise with finance on budgeting, cost tracking, and payment schedules. • Ensure compliance with UAE laws, international procurement standards, and company policies
