Job description
We are currently seeking a Commis Baker with experience in the bakery industry.
Duties:
- Monitoring the dough and raw materials to ensure the highest quality and safest product is produced.
- Comply with quality expectations and standards
- Monitoring the entire line including the oven to ensure the highest quality and safest product is produced
- Complete weight checks on an ongoing basis.
- Keeping waste to a minimum
- Able to read, understand and follow manufacturing orders
- Work in a safe and productive manner
- Report any food safety and/or quality problems to the Supervisor/Assistant Head Baker
- Show ability to learn the different types of bread and pastries
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment for all employees in the bakery production area and packing room.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team to reach common goals; handle sensitive issues with tact, respect, and confidentiality.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
