Position: Assistant Baker
Location: Como Lounge, Dubai, UAE
About Us:
Como Lounge is a distinguished café known for its artisan baked goods, premium service, and stylish atmosphere. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Baker to support our Senior Baker in daily baking operations. If you have a passion for baking and a strong willingness to learn, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Baker in preparing and baking a variety of items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Help with mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking under the guidance of the Senior Baker.
- Support in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the baking and kitchen stations.
- Ensure ingredients are prepared and measured accurately.
- Follow recipes and instructions precisely to maintain quality and consistency.
- Assist in inventory checking and proper storage of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Willing to learn new techniques and take part in training and development.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and capable of working on your feet for long hours.
- Willing to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and eagerness to grow within the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,700.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
