Job Summary:
As a Commis Chef, you will support our kitchen team in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards. This is an ideal role for individuals looking to build a culinary career from the ground up in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations.
- Ensure ingredients are prepped, labeled, and stored correctly.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures consistently.
- Assist with receiving and checking kitchen deliveries.
- Be eager to learn and take feedback to improve culinary skills.
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary school training preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
