Job Title: Construction Landscape Foreman
Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and specifications to direct work accurately.
- Operate a variety of landscape machinery and equipment (e.g., skid-steers, excavators, sod cutters, saws) and train crew members on their safe operation.
- Perform and oversee all aspects of hardscape and softscape installation, including but not limited to: patios, walkways, retaining walls, drainage systems, planting, sodding, and irrigation.
- Manage daily crew assignments, productivity, and timekeeping.
- Conduct morning safety meetings (tailgate talks) and ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Manage on-site materials, ensuring they are used efficiently and stored properly.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison with the Project Manager/Supervisor, providing daily updates on progress, challenges, and material needs.
- Interact professionally with clients and property managers when necessary.
- Conduct on-the-spot quality checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction
- Proven expertise in hardscape installation (pavers, natural stone, walls) and softscape practices.
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery common in landscape contracting.
- Strong ability to read and execute landscape design plans.
