We are looking for continental Chef, specializing in preparing and cooking dishes from various European countries and regions, often including French, Italian, Spanish, and other styles. Their primary responsibilities include planning menus, overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and coordinating staff. They may also be involved in creating new recipes, maintaining inventory, and enforcing safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Menu Planning:Developing and adapting menus to incorporate seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while considering budget constraints.
- Kitchen Operations:Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff, ensuring smooth workflow, and addressing any issues that arise during service.
- Food Quality:Maintaining high standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation, ensuring all dishes are cooked to perfection.
- Recipe Creation:Developing new recipes and adapting existing ones to keep the menu fresh and innovative.
- Inventory Control:Managing stock levels, placing orders to replenish supplies, and minimizing food waste.
