Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contracts Manager with a background in Facilities Management to oversee the end-to-end management of contractual obligations for our client and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with a deep understanding of FM operations, service level agreements (SLAs), and contract lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities :
Contract Management & Compliance :
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of FM contracts (e.g., hard & soft services, MEP, cleaning, security, maintenance).
- Ensure contracts are compliant with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure alignment with SLA/KPI terms.
- Manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations.
- Implement and maintain a central repository for contracts and related documentation.
Procurement & Commercial :
- Support procurement in vendor selection, tender evaluations, and bid analysis.
- Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective service contracts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend contract optimization strategies.
- Conduct market and price benchmarking for FM services.
Stakeholder & Client Management :
- Act as a liaison between internal departments (operations, legal, finance, procurement) and external vendors/clients.
- Manage client expectations and ensure clear interpretation and execution of contract terms.
- Handle contract-related disputes or escalations and lead resolution discussions.
Risk Management & Reporting :
- Identify contractual and commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Track key contract milestones and deliverables to avoid breaches or penalties.
- Generate periodic reports on contract status, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
Requirements :
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in contract management within the Facilities Management or Real Estate industry.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale service contracts and subcontractor agreements.
Skills & Competencies :
- In-depth knowledge of FM operations and service delivery models.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procurement processes, and financial principles.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
- Proficiency in contract lifecycle management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Professional certifications (e.g., IACCM, MRICS, PMP) are a plus.
- Familiarity with local regulatory compliance and labor laws.
- Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems and digital contract tools.
