Job Description:
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic boat manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, Analyzing, and controlling production costs, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and profitability across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Calculate and monitor direct and indirect production costs (materials, labor, overhead).
· Analyze monthly cost variances and prepare detailed cost reports for management.
· Determine unit cost per boat model based on actual production expenses.
· Collaborate with engineering, production, and inventory departments to track material usage and identify waste or inefficiencies.
· Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and standard cost models.
· Maintain and improve cost accounting systems and procedures.
· Support pricing strategies by providing accurate product cost estimates.
· Perform financial analysis of manufacturing operations and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
· Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent analytical and communication skills.
· Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
