- Operate mobile, overhead, or tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place materials and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer instructions during crane operations.
- Perform daily inspection and routine maintenance checks on the crane before use.
- Report mechanical issues, malfunctions, or needed repairs to maintenance teams.
- Determine load weights and ensure they do not exceed crane capacity.
- Secure loads properly using slings, shackles, and hooks as required.
- Communicate with signalmen, riggers, and supervisors for safe loading/unloading.
- Adhere to UAE safety standards, construction site rules, and company operating procedures.
- Maintain a valid UAE crane operator license as required by law (e.g., RTA/DM/DOT certified).
- Use radios, hand signals, or verbal commands to coordinate with site teams.
- Work closely with ground personnel to ensure clear understanding during operations.
