We are looking for an experienced Crushing Plant Supervisor to lead and oversee the operations of our crushing plant facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of crushers, screens, and related heavy equipment, and will be responsible for ensuring production targets, equipment maintenance, and employee performance meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily crushing plant operations, including production targets, maintenance, and shift schedules.
- Plan and coordinate loading/unloading of materials and equipment mobilization.
- Inspect and ensure the efficient running of all crushers, screens, conveyors, and ancillary equipment.
- Assign tasks to plant operators, welders, fabricators, and general workers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company SOPs at all times.
- Liaise with management, maintenance, logistics, and HSE teams.
- Monitor fuel, raw material, and spare part usage and initiate procurement where necessary.
- Conduct regular plant inspections, troubleshoot breakdowns, and oversee preventive maintenance.
- Prepare daily production and downtime reports and ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized plant environment.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operating or supervising crushing and screening plants.
- Strong knowledge of jaw crushers, cone crushers, impact crushers, vibrating screens, and stackers.
- Understanding of steel fabrication, welding jobs, and structural assembly is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in reading plant layout drawings and coordinating equipment setup.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations (preferably with NEBOSH/OSHA certifications).
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing mobile and fixed crushing units.
- Familiarity with quarry, recycling, or mining plant operations.
- UAE experience and a valid UAE driving license are an advantage.
