Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer bookings, ensuring accuracy in cargo details, routing, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with clients for booking shipments and follow up on shipping instructions and cargo readiness.
- Process and monitor container booking requests through the internal system.
- Provide clients with updated vessel schedules, cut-off deadlines, and ETAs/ETDs.
- Update customers proactively about shipment status, vessel delays, rollovers, port omissions, or schedule changes.
- Coordinate with internal departments (operations, documentation, space control, equipment, finance, and sales) to ensure accurate and timely shipment execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service within a container shipping line , NVOCC or Freight Forwarding Company.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, port operations, and container logistics.
- Proficient in MS Office and shipping software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Hindi is a plus).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and resolve issues under tight deadlines.
