Job Purpose :
- To lead and execute high-level delegate acquisition and sales strategies for our conferences and exhibition across GCC region .
- This role requires a strong blend of sales expertise, marketing coordination, and leadership ability.
- The ideal candidate is passionate about event planning, thrives in a collaborative environment, and excels at building and converting high-value client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Sales Generation
- Drive delegate revenue through outbound sales campaigns (phone, email, CRM).
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to consistently exceed targets.
- Conduct in-depth consultative sales conversations to uncover client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Navigate and overcome objections to secure delegate bookings.
Lead Management & Market Research
- Conduct strategic prospecting and market segmentation to identify and target qualified leads.
- Use lead scoring and qualification frameworks to prioritize outreach.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
Marketing & CRM Integration
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and delegate targeting.
- Use CRM data to create audience-specific outreach strategies and track campaign performance.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with key clients to increase retention and upsell opportunities.
- Serve as a key contact point for delegates pre- and post-event to ensure satisfaction and engagement.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and guide junior sales executives, sharing best practices and coaching on effective sales techniques.
- Contribute to sales training and team knowledge development.
Strategic & Analytical Contribution
- Analyze sales metrics to refine outreach and improve conversion rates.
- Provide input into revenue forecasting and pipeline planning with senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 8 plus years of experience in delegate sales, B2B event sales, or conference sponsorship.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
- High proficiency in consultative selling and account management.
- Passion for the events industry and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in the life sciences or healthcare sector is a plus.
