We are seeking a talented and motivated Demi Chef de Partie with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team in Dubai at a renowned beach side upmarket Italian restaurant This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in the cold kitchen or Garde Manger and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present cold dishes, salads, appetisers, and other menu items to the highest standards.
- Ensure all mise-en-place is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation aligned with Mediterranean culinary traditions.
- Work collaboratively with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Uphold strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock for the cold section.
- Support in the training and development of junior staff when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end or fine dining environment.
- Proven expertise in the cold section / Garde Manger, particularly in Mediterranean cuisine.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Candidates must be currently based in the UAE and available for a full-time, live-out position.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
