DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Out Patient and inpatient dietitian consultation.
- In patient food service operation.
- As a part of nutrition care process diet counseling for referred patients and respective diet brochures on discharge.
- Responsible for respective inpatient wards and coordinate with nursing for nutritional management.
- Menu development and necessary alteration to be done as per requirement.
- Based on in patient statistics and clinical condition with respect to nutrition care process finalize diet card for food service.
- Supervise tray line of inpatient food service as per duty.
- Evaluating patient tolerance of therapeutic diet and make alteration in the diet card for service.
- During the inpatient medical nutrition therapy the respective patient’s diet is ordered by the clinical dietitian.
- The personalized diet plan as per nutritional diagnosis is prepared as per the client with necessary brochures based on clinical condition.
- Maintain ISO, HACCP and JCIA standard in food service operation.
- Enteral feed management.
- Assist HOD for various department activities.
- Follow the protocol according to the standard ensured by the HOD.
- To follow appropriate international guidelines, DHA regulations and Joint commission international norms while treating or managing patients as well as while discharging their professional duties.

- QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS
- Post graduate in dietetics and food service or equivalent degree ,1 year Internship in a not less than 100 bedded Hospital
- Minimum 3 years experience in food service operation in any hospital kitchen or training under a Chief dietitian.
- Excellent command of oral and written English, Arabic language advantageous/desirable but not essential.
