Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with strong experience in DEWA Electricity Distribution Works (ED Works), specifically in 11kV / 33kV cable laying, jointing, termination, and testing. The candidate will be responsible for DEWA submissions, project approvals, and execution of high-voltage underground cable projects in compliance with DEWA standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage DEWA submissions and approvals for ED Works (11kV/33kV).
- Supervise cable laying, jointing, termination, and testing activities on-site.
- Coordinate with DEWA inspectors, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure all works comply with DEWA regulations, safety codes, and quality standards.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, load schedules, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 4 UAE experience in DEWA ED Works (11kV/33kV cable projects).
- DEWA Approved Engineer (preferred) or proven experience handling DEWA submissions.
- Strong technical knowledge of underground LV/HV cable systems and DEWA guidelines.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
