Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team for residential villa projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of electrical inspection experience, including at least 5 years working with engineering consultancies in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections to ensure all electrical installations and materials comply with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
- Review and verify contractor’s work, method statements, and material submittals.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations and other UAE authority standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide daily site reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve electrical issues on-site.
- Inspect installations including lighting, power, earthing, panel boards, cable trays, and other villa-specific electrical systems.
- Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate site records.
- Ensure all work adheres to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a consultancy environment.
- Extensive knowledge of UAE electrical codes and authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
- Proven experience in villa or low-rise residential projects in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems used in residential construction.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
- UAE Society of Engineers Membership.
- DEWA/ADDC approval or certification.
- Driving license (optional but preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
