Job Description (JD):
We are hiring an experienced Electrical – Power Draftsman for a reputed infrastructure and utility firm in Dubai. The role involves drafting medium and low voltage (MV/LV) power distribution layouts using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate 2D/3D drawings for MV/LV power distribution networks
- Draft cable routing, duct banks, substation layouts, and load schedules
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and design teams to ensure technical accuracy
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA standards)
- Update existing drawings and maintain proper documentation
- Collaborate with site teams to support construction and implementation
✅ Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in power distribution drafting (MV/LV systems)
- Strong skills in AutoCAD; knowledge of MicroStation is an advantage
- Experience working with utility companies or contractors in the UAE
- Understanding of electrical standards and utility guidelines
