Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Electricians install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Maintenance: They perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshooting: Electricians diagnose and repair electrical issues using testing devices and tools.
- Compliance: They ensure that all electrical work complies with local and national safety codes and regulations.
- Inspection: Conduct inspections of electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify potential problems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, along with completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical technology.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams, as well as knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address electrical issues.
- Must have 5+ yaers experience
