Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design cum Estimation Engineer with 4 years of experience in structural analysis, design, and cost estimation. The ideal candidate should be proficient in structural design software like ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro, and have a strong understanding of design codes, quantity take-offs, and preparation of BOQs. You will play a key role in designing safe and cost-effective structures and supporting project cost estimation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Design:
- Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures using ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro.
- Prepare design calculations, structural drawings, and specifications in compliance with relevant codes (IS, ACI, BS, Eurocodes).
- Collaborate with architects and MEP teams to integrate structural solutions within multidisciplinary designs.
- Conduct structural feasibility studies for proposed building or infrastructure designs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in structural design and estimation.
- Proficient in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with IS codes and international design standards.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
