Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their fabric selections, addressing inquiries, and offering styling advice.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of fabrics, including various types, weaves, prints, and embroidery techniques.
Guide customers in choosing fabrics based on their specific needs, preferences, and occasion requirements.
Educate customers about the quality, care instructions, and suitability of different fabrics, helping them make informed purchase decisions.
Stay updated on the latest fashion trends and emerging fabric designs to provide valuable recommendations to customers.
Assist in maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store display, ensuring all fabrics are neatly folded or hung.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets, actively participating in promotional activities and events.
Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and reporting any discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including restocking fabrics, arranging samples, and ensuring overall store cleanliness.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a fabric store or a similar retail environment is highly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of fabricsis essential.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for fabric quality, texture, and design.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer requests simultaneously.
Familiarity with measuring and cutting fabrics according to customer specifications is a plus.
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
Flexibility to work on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, as per the store's schedule.
