Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Factory Officer to assist with the day-to-day operations of our chocolate production line. The ideal candidate must come from the Food and Beverage industry, be familiar with food safety standards, and have hands-on experience working in a food production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and clean production equipment used in chocolate making.
- Follow standard recipes and instructions to mix, temper, mold, and pack chocolate products.
- Assist in maintaining product consistency by adhering to weight, texture, and temperature guidelines.
- Conduct visual quality checks and report any product or packaging defects to the supervisor.
- Label, sort, and package finished products as per company guidelines.
- Ensure that cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in the production area at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials used, batch numbers, and production output.
- Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Cooperate with QA/QC teams during inspections and audits.
- Support senior staff and participate in any training or upskilling activities provided.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years of work experience in the food processing or manufacturing industry.
- Prior experience in chocolate, confectionery, or dairy products is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP/GMP).
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours and handle repetitive tasks.
Working Conditions:
- Factory setting with exposure to food ingredients and production machinery.
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, depending on production schedules.
- Temperature-controlled environment; PPE provided by the company.
