We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic female Play Assistant to help create a fun, inclusive, and educational atmosphere in our edutainment zones. You'll lead interactive play-based activities that inspire learning and development for children aged 3–10 years in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead creative, play-based activities that support social and emotional development
- Engage children in fun, educational experiences (e.g., crafts, games, slime, face painting)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming play area
- Supervise children and ensure their well-being during activities
- Support therapeutic play sessions as needed
- Communicate with parents/caregivers about their child’s participation
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and emergency protocols
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment
- Report behavioral or safety concerns to supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma (required); CACHE Level 1/2 or early childhood qualification preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience in childcare, education, or recreation settings
- Understanding of play-based learning and child safety protocols
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Creative and energetic, with strong communication skills and a love for working with children
