Job Overview
Emirates Talent Solution is hiring a General Manager – Finance for a leading property development and real estate company in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate sector. This role requires strong expertise in financial strategy, investment analysis, cash flow management, and compliance with UAE financial regulations. The GM Finance will play a critical role in strategic decision-making, business growth, and profitability optimization.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies to drive business growth.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for property development and brokerage operations.
- Analyze financial performance, highlight risks/opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
- Maintain compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and financial laws.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.
Cash Flow & Investment Management
- Manage cash flow planning to support acquisitions, financing, and ongoing operations.
- Develop investment and capital allocation strategies for maximum returns.
- Build strong banking relationships and oversee financing, loan structuring, and treasury operations.
Cost Control & Risk Management
- Implement cost optimization strategies to improve financial efficiency.
- Monitor financial risks in property development and real estate transactions.
- Establish risk management frameworks to safeguard against market volatility.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and manage the finance department, driving performance and accountability.
- Mentor and train finance teams on best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and real estate regulations.
- Oversee tax filings, audits, and liaise with consultants and regulators.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and financial regulations impacting the sector.
Process Improvement & Financial Systems
- Strengthen financial systems, policies, and processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and upgrade ERP/accounting systems for real-time financial management.
- Safeguard financial data integrity and security.
Key Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certifications (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA – qualified or part-qualified) preferred/required.
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of finance and accounting experience.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within property development or real estate.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and real estate investment analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of UAE taxation, VAT, and real estate financial compliance.
Soft Skills
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: AED12,500.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
