About The Role
As a Food and Beverage Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various areas of the F&B department, including restaurant service, bar operations, banquet setups, and kitchen coordination. This internship is designed to provide you with practical skills, professional knowledge, and a real-world understanding of day-to-day F&B operations in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of restaurants, bars, and/or banquet functions
- Greet and serve guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure cleanliness and setup of dining areas before, during, and after service
- Support kitchen and service staff during peak hours
- Help with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Participate in team briefings and training sessions
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Learn POS (Point-of-Sale) system operations
- Assist in coordinating special events or themed nights
- Provide suggestions and feedback to improve the guest experience
Experience & Educational Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Tourism program.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong orientation towards customer service
- Highly organized and proactive and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
