We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Full-Time Videographer and Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for visual storytelling, be adept at both photography and videography, and be able to work across various settings to produce engaging content. The role requires a versatile individual who can capture high-quality images and video for marketing campaigns, social media, events, product shoots, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Photography:
- Capture high-quality still images for a wide range of purposes, including but not limited to product photography, lifestyle shoots, corporate headshots, and event photography.
- Manage lighting setups, composition, and angles to ensure visually compelling images.
- Edit and retouch photos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Maintain an organized photo library for easy access and retrieval.
- Videography:
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, company websites).
- Film live events, product demos, promotional videos, interviews, and branded content.
- Ensure all video production adheres to brand guidelines, storytelling goals, and technical specifications.
- Utilize cameras, lighting equipment, and sound gear to create high-quality video footage.
- Edit videos using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Pre-Production & Planning:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project goals, creative vision, and content requirements.
- Assist in developing storyboards, shot lists, and production schedules for photo and video shoots.
- Scout locations for shoots and help with set preparation.
- Post-Production:
- Edit and enhance both video and photographic content, ensuring it meets the required creative standards.
- Sync and clean up audio, color correct footage, add effects, and perform sound mixing when needed.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand and marketing goals.
- Equipment Management:
- Maintain and care for all photographic and videographic equipment, including cameras, lenses, lights, microphones, and other gear.
- Ensure all equipment is fully functional and ready for use for each shoot.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest photography and videography technologies and trends.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and social media teams to align on visual content strategies.
- Attend meetings and provide input on visual content strategy, style, and execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
- Other Duties:
- Participate in brainstorming and creative sessions for future projects.
- Provide assistance with special events, product launches, or brand activations as needed.
- Ensure all content is delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Videography, Film Production, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a videographer and photographer in a professional setting.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both photography and videography work.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in professional camera equipment (DSLR, mirrorless, cinema cameras).
- Skilled in using editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of lighting, composition, and framing techniques for both video and photo.
- Basic understanding of sound design and video audio mixing is a plus.
- Creative & Soft Skills:
- Strong creative vision and storytelling skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality content on time.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing project needs.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry camera equipment (typically up to 30 lbs).
- Willingness to travel to different locations for shoots (local and occasionally national/international).
- Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on project requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience in drone videography or aerial photography.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with social media trends and platform-specific content styles.
