We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, repairing, and installing a wide range of wooden furniture items such as chairs, tables, cabinets, and custom pieces. This role requires a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, tools, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble custom furniture pieces based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Measure, cut, shape, and join wood and wood-based materials accurately.
- Carry out veneering, laminating, and finishing work as required.
- Read and interpret workshop drawings, cutting lists, and assembly instructions.
- Conduct on-site installations when necessary, ensuring high-quality fit and finish.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
