We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, repairing, and installing a wide range of wooden furniture items such as chairs, tables, cabinets, and custom pieces. This role requires a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, tools, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to build furniture.
- Sand, finish, stain, or paint furniture pieces as needed.
- Install hardware (hinges, handles, locks, etc.) and upholstery if required.
- Repair or refurbish damaged or old furniture.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and craftsmanship.
