We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Risk Manager to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the online trading industry, particularly in leveraged products such as Forex and CFDs. This is a key role responsible for overseeing the firm’s exposure and ensuring risk is proactively identified and mitigated.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assess real-time market and client risk exposure.
• Analyze client trading behavior and identify potential threats (e.g., toxic flow, arbitrage).
• Recommend and implement effective hedging and exposure management strategies.
• Work closely with liquidity providers to manage execution quality and liquidity risks.
• Collaborate with compliance to ensure alignment with applicable risk regulations.
• Run daily, weekly, and monthly risk reports and stress-testing scenarios.
• Support operational teams with risk-related input and system configuration.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in a risk-related role at an FX/CFD broker or similar financial institution.
• Strong understanding of margin trading, leverage, and exposure management.
• Familiarity with MT5, cTrader, or institutional bridge and risk tech (e.g., PrimeXM, OneZero).
• An analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Python, or SQL is a plus.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and during high-impact news events.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
• Certification in CFA, CPA, or similar qualifications is required.
