Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-driven part-time/full-time Male Accountant to oversee financial reporting and aggregator reconciliations. This non-outsource role is based in Dubai and requires candidates to hold their own valid UAE residence visa.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Xero ledger: Post sales & expense entries, bank feeds, journals; automate recurring items when possible.
- Bank & POS reconciliation: Reconcile Xero feeds against bank statements, clear suspense items, and research discrepancies.
- Aggregator payouts: Reconcile Talabat, Deliveroo, etc. as recorded in Syrve POS and ensure correct fee breakdowns.
- Sales-versus-payout comparison: Identify sales mismatches across POS, bank, and aggregator records; adjust and report variances.
- Financial reports: Generate monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements using Xero’s built-in tools.
- VAT preparation & audit support: Organize expense documentation for VAT filings and respond to audit queries.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects including departmental cost analysis and management reporting.
