We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reservations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our reservations department, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests. The Reservations Manager will lead a team of reservations agents, manage room inventory, and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the reservations team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the reservations department.
- Monitor and analyze reservation trends, making recommendations to the management team.
- Oversee group and corporate bookings, ensuring all details are accurate and communicated effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of room inventory, rates, and availability.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional packages and special offers.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Generate regular reports on occupancy, revenue, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a reservations or front office management role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds, etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
