Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer - Content Creator will be responsible for designing visually appealing and effective marketing materials, including in-store promotions, social media content, email campaigns, and print advertisements. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create retail-focused content that drives sales, enhances brand awareness, and engages customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design eye-catching in-store point-of-purchase (POP) displays, promotional materials, and signage to promote products and drive sales.
- Create engaging social media content, including graphics, videos, and animations, to build brand awareness and interact with customers.
- Develop email campaigns and newsletters to inform customers about promotions, new products, and events.
- Design print advertisements for local newspapers, magazines, and flyers to reach a wider audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with the hypermarket's brand guidelines and meet the required quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, retail marketing strategies, and industry developments.
- Work closely with the photography team to conceptualize and art direct product and promotional photography.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a retail or marketing environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing retail-focused design work, including in-store promotions, social media content, and print advertisements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
- Excellent understanding of visual design principles, color theory, and typography.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with retail marketing strategies and techniques to drive sales and customer engagement.
